Welcome to my online portfolio! My name is Melissa Garrett, and I am currently an adjunct professor of journalism and digital mass communications at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I recently received a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (with an English minor) from Iowa State University’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication (GSJC).  I also have a B.A. in English and Journalism & Mass Communication from Iowa State (see my resume here).
